The property has a strategic location, as it is within walking distance (slightly uphill) to the UC Berkeley campus, and going there means passing cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The property does not provide laundry service, but you can find two laundromats within three blocks (in a different direction), passing (again) nice cafes and restaurants. The property provides hot and cold beverages 24/7 in its ground floor lobby, and a snack stall, which is convenient. The room is in the intimate side, but nice and clean, has cable TV, HD TV, has a desk that is laptop ready, with access to wifi and charging stations. The shower room is small but clean and works well. The cupboard is rather tight. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

We were very impressed with the inner and outer appearance; there were plants outside our 2nd floor room window! The room was spacious, very clean, and the beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever experienced. The heating was very quiet and consistent. The location is convenient to the university, downtown and almost any other part of the city. Both staff members (night and morning) were pleasant and competent.

A wonderful selection of free and low-priced drinks, an evening social hour, and a convenient central location. The bathrooms (shower, sink, lights, layout, and amenities were great. A convenient fridge and blackout curtains, windows open a bit for fresh air. There's a 7-11 across the street. it's small hotel so nothing is far.

Very helpful reception desk. Well equipped.

This is the perfect business hotel for me. If I could replicate it everywhere, I would do it. Coffee in the lobby 24/7. Clean new room with a very good desk and comfy chair. Friendly staff. Free bikes (take a trip to the Berkeley Marina and Creaser Chavez park), Nice Rooftop.
